I'm learning, too, that it is so much later in our life, that memories have a far reach into defining us. Nearly everyday, I ask myself, "how can I be so naive" to expect anything from anyone, even siblings and parents and children.
"Expecting" reciprocal results from anyone is undoubtedly asking for disappointment. Life is so cluttered now - we thrive on surprises! Keep marching forward
Thank you for writing and sharing this. You have a beautiful and powerful story - all the creases and fractures make it so.
Thanks Lindsey. Yes it is the creases and fractures. . .
Thank you for sharing this incredible life story. “Don’t call me mommy.” I’m still sitting absorbing that arrow. No camouflage I appreciate that.
No camouflage - it is our realities that matter xo
Beautiful story - it touched a nerve re the state of melancholy
Thanks Rose - melancholy can be such a thief!
That was fantastic. I wanted the story to go on...just wonderful.
Thanks Friend - endless encouragement from you - look out!
